With sullen eyes I see the twinkling dew 
On the chrysanthemums blooming in time due . 
The chilly winds chase the broken osiers ; 
The reed-pipe elicits the roamer's tears . 
The tower's shadow in the water $(sleeps)$ ; 
The mountain pass in the dying sun steeps . 
The nestling birds're mute under the night cloak ; 
Only the late coming crows hardly croak .
